Richard W. Miller is Hutchinson Professor in Ethics and Public Life at the Cornell Department of Philosophy. His articles have appeared in many journals, including “The Ethics of America’s Afghan War” in Ethics & International Affairs (Summer 2011). His most recent book is Globalizing Justice: The Ethics of Poverty and Power (2010). He is currently writing a book on the moral foundations of social democracy.
