Nina Tannenwald

Nina Tannenwald is a Faculty Fellow at the Watson Institute for International Studies at Brown University and a senior lecturer in the Political Science Department. Her teaching and research interests lie in the areas of international institutions and norms in security issues. Her book, The Nuclear Taboo: The United States and the Non-Use of Nuclear Weapons Since 1945,was awarded the Lepgold Prize for the best book in international relations in 2009. In 2012–2013 she served as a Franklin Fellow in the Office of Multilateral Nuclear and Security Affairs in the U.S. State Department.
