Mary Dudziak and Zach Dorfman

Mary Dudziak is Asa Griggs Candler Professor of Law and director of the Project on War and Security in Law, Culture, and Society at Emory University.

She is a leading U.S. legal historian and her research is at the intersection of domestic law and U.S. international affairs. Dudziak is the author of several books, including War Time: An Idea, Its History, Its Consequences.

She has served on boards of the American Society for Legal History, the Law and Society Association, and the Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations, and is a distinguished lecturer for the Organization of American Historians.
