David Luban

David Luban is University Professor at Georgetown University Law Center and the Distinguished Visitor in Ethics at the Stockdale Center for Ethical Leadership, U.S. Naval Academy. He writes on just war theory, professional ethics, international criminal law, and human rights. His most recent book is Torture, Power, and Law (2014), and he is currently writing a book on Hannah Arendt’s moral and legal philosophy. Luban is a founding editor of the national security blog Just Security.
